This is the coolest thing on the planet!Without fail jaws drop every time I show the last page with the light sabers that actually light up! My second favorite page is the one with the Mega Predator Rancor on it. I hold the book facing away and slowly open-and-close it on that page to make his harms go up and down so it looks like he's coming after you. My third favorite thing in the book is the pop-up where Princess Leia takes her hood off of her head. It's unbelievable what this book can do. My all-time favorite book. The first time I read this I woke my wife up in the middle of the night. I was reading it in bed and started laughing uncontrollably at the scene about the flying party where Arthur started choking on a Pan Galactic Garble Blaster and the jaded party goer thought that was so cool he started choking along with him just for the experience. This startled Arthur so much he started choking, realized he already was and got thoroughly confused. But don't quote me on that scene. Permalink | Book Info | Book Reviews | Buy Book | Update My Log

This book makes me feel good about myself.Whenever I start to feel like everybody at work takes me for granted, and it seems like "those other guys" in marketing or whatever are getting all of the attention...I re-read this book and realize what a cool profession I have being a computer programmer. This is hilarious!I loved reading what others thought certain song lyrics were. I learned a few things from this book myself. It's funny how often as I'm listening to a song I wonder if I've got the lyrics right and this book comes to mind. Permalink | Book Info | Book Reviews | Buy Book | Update My Log

A good afternoon readI almost skipped reading the introduction by Alan Turney the translator but I'm glad now I didn't. He gives a lot of insight into how this story fits into the life of the author Natsume Soseki and Japanese culture of the time. In the introduction he says the story line is thin and he's right but since I read that I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed this book. Permalink | Book Info | Book Reviews | Buy Book | Update My Log
