I read this book aloud to my daughter and son at bedtime. Overall, it was a good story with good writing and good dialog. I liked how it introduced "big words" in a way that kids could appreciate and understand. I also liked how the author took multiple stories (of Despereaux, Roscuro, and Miggery Sow), wove them all together, and resolved them in the end. Annabelle really liked the book. She's especially excited because she can now watch the movie.
